9 Easy Winter Relief Foods
Almost all of the time, people who have come home from a long day at work will also be hugged by their dogs, loved ones, or relatives and only rest for a moment. And also what better thing to chillax than to cook some fast, calorie-filled goodies?

Did you also know that there have been a variety of forms of comfort food? Nostalgic food, for example, is something that has been going on since childhood. And forgiving food is the fatty pizza roll every other month. Whatever the sort, it's still tasty and makes you feel better. An evening by your favorite comfort food is one of a million opportunities to take care of yourself and have a nice time, so let's have a look at those easy wintertime alternatives.

1. Chicken Noodle Soup

And if they didn't have a horrible corona floating about this fragrant broth would always be the perfect antidote for the cold. It's incredibly easy to cook and tastes like paradise. Some people like to fry their chicken noodles, but I think it's heresy. Often cook them individually, or the noodles would get mushy very easily.

2. Shepherd Pie

This popular Irish meal often referred to as a potato casserole, is a mandatory part of any respectable pub menu, not to mention elementary schools and colleges. Have you ever had this meaty pie since you were a kid? If you have, it could trigger some long-forgotten childhood memories.

3. Lasagna

This traditional Italian dish is high in carbs, and carbohydrates are love! Lasagna is also one of the many overused and comfort foods around here, that is not a huge surprise, because the US is essentially a much larger Italy.

4. Mashed Potatoes with Sour Cream and Bacon Bits

This is my absolute favorite. You're going to take some tatters, peel them well and fry them until they're good and ready. Drain the extra water, apply a few spoonfuls of cream cheese and salt and start squeezing! I like squeezing some garlic in the pot, too but it's unnecessary. In the end, sprinkle some collapsed bacon and have a great feast.

5. Mac and Cheese

What was more famous than this yellow goo bowl? Mac and cheese have been an instant classic for millions of families in America and beyond. Basically, what you need is, yeah, you've guessed it—macaroni and cheese! Keep swirling the mac and adding some of the yellow goodness until it is nice and thick. Also, toss some bacon bits for a fair measure.

6. Deep Dish Pizza

Nobody beats a deep, handmade pizza dish. Since you're not restricted to a selection of recipes, you can make garlic bread with french fries or salmon with broccoli if you really hate yourself. Hold the dough in the oven for about 25 minutes and do not use raw beef.

7. Grilled Cheese Sandwich with a Twist

Whenever it comes to a hearty meal, something beats a scrambled egg and a grilled cheese sandwich. And what if we had to blend the two right meals into one? That's how you get the best performance with a minimum of effort!

8. Crunchy Homemade Oven Fries

Taters are very flexible. You should roast them, boil them, mash them, eat them whole while you're desperate. And baked potatoes are also a wonderful and nutritious choice. But first, you would like to pre-cook the slices by throwing them in a hot oven for half an hour. This would result in the crunchiest fries you've ever seen, which you can dunk in anything you want as much as it has garlic in it.

9. Double-Layered Chocolate Cake

And that for dessert, we've got the real and tried-and-tested comfort food—chocolate cake with much more chocolate sauce and in the center. At this point, many of you will only eat a chocolate bar, and that's right. But you can't sink your teeth into a tough candy bar like you do that with a puffy, fluffy pastry.
